Female patient 42 y old presented with severe Lt sciatica. a and b preoperative MRI LSS sagittal and axial views T1, c and d preoperative MRI LSS sagittal and axial views T2, showed L5-S1 Lt foraminal and FLLDH compressing Lt L5 root. e Postoperative X Ray LSS; surgical treatment was done with L5 laminectomy and Lt L5-S1 facetectomy, discectomy and removal of the extruded fragment, and L5-S1 fixation with transpedicular screws. Marked improvement of pain was observed immediately postoperatively (Excellent outcome)
